Perenniopora fraxinea

Perenniopora found on the branch of an oak.
Perenniopora is usually confined to the base of a tree. This is an unusual case because the bracket was found on an oak branch, 5m up.
On close inspection, there was a hollow buttress root, the stem was hollow and there was a decay pocket on the branch next to the bracket.
